Product Summary

"Clinique - Fresh Pressed Clinical™ Daily + Overnight Boosters Vitamins C+A" is effective for: Evens skin tone, Exfoliation, Anti-blemish, Moisturizing and Anti-aging

Ingredient callouts

  • This product also contains Vitamin C (Ascorbic Acid) 5.80% - 7.00% It can be helpful in stimulating collagen production, neutralizing free radicals in skin and improving pigmentation marks. We recommend to use up this product quickly after opening: Ascorbic Acid degrades fast when it gets in contact with air and light. The moment the product turns orange, it is a sign that a significant share of the vitamin C in it is no longer effective.
  • This product contains an effective form of Retinoids (vitamin A): retinol 0.15% - 0.25%. Retinoids are potent multitasking actives. They work to improve and prevent early signs of aging, reduce hyperpigmentation (age spots and post-acne marks), and prevent inflamed blemishes and clogged pores. The downside of Retinoids is that they can be irritating. If you are not already using a Retinoid in your routine, it is best to start slowly and apply the Retinoid product only a few times per week. If your skin tolerates it well, you can gradually increase the frequency to daily.
  • Peptides (acetyl hexapeptide-8 0.20% - 0.35%, palmitoyl hexapeptide-12 0.20% - 0.40%, palmitoyl tetrapeptide-7 0.15% - 0.30%, palmitoyl tripeptide-1 0.20% - 0.35%, palmitoyl hexapeptide-12 0.15% - 0.30% and acetyl hexapeptide-8 0.20% - 0.40%). There are many different kind of Peptides and they are naturally present in our skin. They all are a combination of aminoacids. Some of them work as natural antibiotics, promote wound-healing and production of collagen. The science is still not settled on how effective Peptides are in skincare, but it is very likely that they have a benefit. They might help restore the skin barrier and fight the signs of aging. At the very least, Peptides work as humectants: they attract water to the upper layer of the skin and improve its hydration.
  • Humectants (acetyl glucosamine 0.20% - 0.40%, sodium hyaluronate 0.20% - 0.35%, acetyl hexapeptide-8 0.20% - 0.35%, glycerin 0.20% - 0.35%, sodium hyaluronate 0.10% - 0.20%, betaine 0.10% - 0.20%, sucrose 0.10% - 0.15%, alcaligenes polysaccharides 0.15% - 0.25%, algae extract 0.25% - 0.45%, acetyl hexapeptide-8 0.20% - 0.40%, acetyl glucosamine 1.20% - 1.40% and glycerin 4.10% - 5.00%). These ingredients help attract water to the upper layer of the skin and improve the skin hydration.
