This product can help reduce and prevent fine lines and wrinkles, improve skin elasticity and firmness because it contains adenosine.

These ingredients in the product can also be helpful, even though there is less evidence for their effectiveness: aspartic acid, folic acid, retinyl acetate, serine, threonine.

Keep in mind that it typically takes at least 6 weeks to notice any results because the changes that are needed to improve fine lines and elasticity happen in the deeper layers of the skin. No topical anti-aging product can “erase” wrinkles or fully reverse signs of aging.

This product can help improve hydration of the skin with the two types of ingredients.

The first type is called “humectants”:
these ingredients help attract water. When humectants are on the surface of the skin, they “pull in” the moisture from the outside environment, or from within deeper layers of the skin. The following ingredients in this product do the job: alanine, aspartic acid.

This product also contains ingredients called “occlusives”. They help reduce the speed with which our skin loses moisture to the outside environment.     For some reason I keep finding myself intrigued by Filorga even though I generally find that their products are overpriced, over-fragranced and don't do much. This is one of the few ones that might actually be worth the money (well, at least if you can get it on sale). This plumped up my skin like no other product I've tried has. I found this to work way better in terms of plumping and long-lasting hydration than the much-lauded NIOD Multi-molecular Hyaluronic Complex, and this is actually a bit cheaper (at least where I live).

    However, this did pill a little bit underneath silicone primers as well as pure oils. Also, given how many very affordable K-beauty serums there are that contain multiple different types and molecular weights of hyaluronic acid, you might be able to get the very same effect that this gives for cheaper from a K-beauty brand.

  • This product includes a form of Retinoids (vitamin A) - retinyl acetate 0.20% - 0.35%, but this type of vitamin A is not very effective. It could in theory help with fine lines and wrinkles, but the effect is most likely minimal.
  • Adenosine 0.25% - 0.45%. It is a chemical present inside our skin cells.
