Product summary

"Dr Dennis Gross - Skincare Vitamin C Lactic Oil-Free Radiant Moisturizer" is effective for: Evens skin tone, Anti-blemish, Anti-aging and Moisturizing

Ingredient callouts

  • This product contains acids (lactic acid 1.70% - 2.00%). Their concentration is low, and they will not have a strong exfoliating effect. Instead, they work to support the skin natural acid mantle and to attract water (as humectants). Lactic acid is particularly good in attracting water to the upper layer of the skin and improving the skin barrier.
  • This product also contains Vitamin C (Ascorbic Acid). It can be an effective active for anti-aging and evening out the skin tone, but in this product it is used for stabilizing other ingredients in the formulation. In this concentration (2.10% - 2.50%) it cannot have a noticeable benefit for the skin.
  • Ceramides (phytosphingosine 0.35% - 0.65% and ceramide ng 0.70% - 1.05%). Ceramides are an important part of our natural skin barrier. The Ceramides used in skincare are synthetic or come from plants. They help soften the skin and can help "fill the gaps" in the skin barrier, keeping the skin hydrated and resilient for longer.
  • Adenosine 0.30% - 0.55%. It is a chemical present inside our skin cells. A clinical trial confirmed that topical application of Adenosine in a low concentration can reduce dynamic wrinkles (these are the wrinkles that appear with age in a places where our mimic is the most active, for example, in the corners of the eyes or on the forehead).
  • Humectants (sodium pca 0.30% - 0.55%, saccharide isomerate 0.30% - 0.60%, sodium hyaluronate 0.45% - 0.65% and glycerin 4.30% - 5.20%). These ingredients help attract water to the upper layer of the skin and improve the skin hydration.
