Product Summary

"Medipeel - Buy MediPeel Gold Age Tox H8 Cream in Australia - Korean Skincare and Cosmetics" has a good moisturizing formula. As we expect from a proper moisturizer, the formula includes a combo of effective humectants and emollients. These are the two different types of ingredients that are essential for improving the skin hydration and supporting a healthy skin barrier. Acetyl hexapeptide-8, panthenol, alanine, aspartic acid and glutamic acid in this product (humectants) attract water molecules to the upper layer of the skin (the water comes from the outside air or from the deeper layers of the skin if the air is dry). Emollients in this formulation (ceramide 1, ceramide 2, ceramide 3, ceramide 6 ii and palmitoyl tripeptide-1) help to reduce the moisture loss from the skin. They also soften the skin surface and relieve the feeling of dryness and tightness.

Ingredient callouts

  • We love that this moisturizer contains a good concentration of niacinamide 2.30% - 2.80%. Niacinamide is a perfect active in a moistruizer because it helps calm down inflamation in skin and support the skin barrier. More than that, it is helpful for most common skin concerns: it helps regulat oil production, help reduce acne and clogged pores, improve skin tone and prevent pigmentation marks. It also helps fight photodamage.
  • As a plus, this moisturizer also contains Ceramides (ceramide 1 0.25% - 0.45%, ceramide 6 ii 0.25% - 0.50%, ceramide 4 0.25% - 0.40%, phytosphingosine 0.30% - 0.50%, ceramide 2 0.25% - 0.50% and ceramide 3 0.25% - 0.50%). Ceramides are a type of lipids that our skin produces itself. They are a building block of the skin's barrier. Ceramides used in skincare are synthetic or extracted from plants. They work well for softening the skin surface and "patch holes" in the skin's barrier.
  • We like that this moisturizer contains peptides (dipeptide diaminobutyroyl benzylamide diacetate 0.25% - 0.40%, palmitoyl tripeptide-5 0.25% - 0.40%, oligopeptide-1 0.25% - 0.40%, acetyl hexapeptide-8 0.25% - 0.40%, palmitoyl tripeptide-1 0.25% - 0.50%, copper tripeptide-1 0.25% - 0.40% and palmitoyl pentapeptide-4 0.25% - 0.40%). There are many different kind of Peptides and they are naturally present in our skin. They all are a combination of aminoacids. Some of them work as natural antibiotics, promote wound-healing and production of collagen. The science is still not settled on how effective Peptides are in skincare, but it is very likely that they have a benefit. Peptides might help restore the skin barrier and fight the signs of aging. At the very least, Peptides work as humectants: they attract water to the upper layer of the skin and improve its hydration.
  • Adenosine 0.20% - 0.35%. It is a chemical present inside our skin cells. A clinical trial confirmed that topical application of Adenosine in a low concentration can reduce dynamic wrinkles (these are the wrinkles that appear with age in a places where our mimic is the most active, for example, in the corners of the eyes or on the forehead).
  • Panthenol (pro-vitamin B5) at about 0.65% - 0.95% concentration. In this concentration, Panthenol works effectively to improve the skin barrier and reduce inflammation.
This product contains ingredients that could be beneficial, but their concentrations are too low in this formulation: stearic acid
