Ceramides are a type of lipids that our skin produces itself. They are a building block of the skin's barrier. Ceramides used in skincare are synthetic or extracted from plants. It has an anti-inflammatory effect and is used to treat acne. Because it is a quite strong exfoliator, be careful with using this product too often: it could result in over-exfoliation.
  • Azelaic Acid (6.00% - 7.30%). This active can reduce hyperpigmentation. It also works helps against acne and clogged pores. Please note that Azelaic Acid is most effective against acne in concentrations between 10% and 20%.
  • Humectants (acetyl glucosamine 0.25% - 0.45%, pseudozyma epicola/camellia sinensis seed oil/glucose/malt extract/soybean flour/yeast extract ferment filtrate 0.25% - 0.45%, sodium hyaluronate crosspolymer 0.25% - 0.45%, tremella fuciformis sporocarp extract 0.30% - 0.55% and glycerin 2.30% - 2.90%). These ingredients help attract water to the upper layer of the skin and improve the skin hydration.
