• This product also contains Vitamin C (Ascorbic Acid). It can be an effective active for anti-aging and evening out the skin tone, but in this product it is used for stabilizing other ingredients in the formulation. In this concentration (0.45% - 0.70%) it cannot have a noticeable benefit for the skin.
• This product includes a form of Retinoids (vitamin A) - retinyl palmitate 0.20% - 0.40%, but this type of vitamin A is not very effective. It could in theory help with fine lines and wrinkles, but the effect is most likely minimal.
• Ceramides (ceramide ng 0.25% - 0.40%). Ceramides are a type of lipids that our skin produces itself. They are a building block of the skin's barrier. Ceramides used in skincare are synthetic or extracted from plants. They work well for softening the skin surface and "patch holes" in the skin's barrier.
• Humectants (glycerin 0.25% - 0.45%, sodium hyaluronate 0.20% - 0.35%, soluble collagen 0.30% - 0.55%, inositol 0.30% - 0.55%, trehalose 0.30% - 0.60%, glycerin 0.55% - 0.85% and glycerin 1.60% - 1.90%). These ingredients help attract water to the upper layer of the skin and improve the skin hydration.
