Emollients in this formulation (dimethicone, ethylhexyl hydroxystearate, cyclopentasiloxane, caprylyl glycol and isohexadecane) help to reduce the moisture loss from the skin. They also soften the skin surface and relieve the feeling of dryness and tightness.
