This product works by removing dirt and oil from the surface of the skin. It uses a combination of mild cleansing agents (cetyl alcohol, cocamidopropyl betaine, glyceryl stearate, hexylene glycol, peg-100 stearate, polysorbate 20, potassium cetyl phosphate, sodium c14-16 olefin sulfonate) and should be able to cleanse the skin gently.
