• This product also contains Vitamin C (Ascorbic Acid). It can be an effective active for anti-aging and evening out the skin tone, but in this product it is used for stabilizing other ingredients in the formulation. In this concentration (0.05% - 0.25%) it cannot have a noticeable benefit for the skin.
• This product contains Bakuchiol (0.05% - 0.30%). It is a plant extract that is has a similar effect to that of Retinoids but with less irritation. Bakuchiol can help reduce fine lines and wrinkles, improve skin tone, reduce clogged pores and blemishes, and reduce inflammation.
• Ceramides (ceramide np 0.15% - 0.50%). Ceramides are a type of lipids that our skin produces itself. They are a building block of the skin's barrier. Ceramides used in skincare are synthetic or extracted from plants. They work well for softening the skin surface and "patch holes" in the skin's barrier.
• Panthenol (pro-vitamin B5) at about 4.90% - 7.40% concentration. In this concentration, Panthenol works effectively to improve the skin barrier and reduce inflammation.
• Humectants (lactobacillus ferment 0.20% - 0.80%, diglycerin 0.35% - 0.75%, arginine 0.80% - 1.20% and panthenol 4.90% - 7.40%). These ingredients help attract water to the upper layer of the skin and improve the skin hydration.
