Dehydration but oily acne prone

I made this routine in the U.K. where it’s quite humid and just moved to a fairly dry climate and my skin is suddenly somehow oilier AND drier. We’ll be heading into summer soon and with the heat dehydration will only get worse - any recommendations for oil free ways to add hydration?

Skipping the morning cleanse and cleansing in one step only can help - it will strengthen the skin barrier. You can check out our guide to cleansing here: https://whatsinmyjar.com/resources/sensitive-skin/all-about-cleansing-wimj-cleansing-guide.

I would recommend changing your moisturizer. Your current Facetheory product contains some frequent irritants (formaldehyde-releasing preservatives). It's better to avoid them, especially if your skin feels dehydrated. A good alternative with Niacinamide is: https://whatsinmyjar.com/product/vichy-mineral-89-probiotic-fractions-recovery-serum-for-stressed-skin-with-4-niacinamide (this serum should be enough under your moisturizer from The Ordinary)

Are you sure the face theory moisturiser includes those ingredients? Sometimes I've added face theory products to this platform and it accidentally includes the toxic ingredients face theory same are not in the product.

OMG, thank you for noticing this! The ingredient list for this product was wrong: it included the list of ingredient they say isn't in it, but it was recognized by the algo as "included" because it was added to the ingredient list field! We will check all the other Facetheory products for this mistake!

Thank you for pointing this out!

I am working on a fix right now, just be fixed by the end of the day. Sorry for the mistake!
