1
Ultra-Light Moisturizing Gel CeraVe - Ultra-Light Moisturizing Gel
Use every day, as many times as needed. For most people, it's best to use a moisturizer twice per day. In the morning, apply it before your sunscreen (or skip the moisturizer in the morning if your sunscreen feels hydrating enough). In the evening, a moisturizer is usually the last step of a routine.
2
Sheer Mineral UV Defense SPF 50 SkinCeuticals - Sheer Mineral UV Defense SPF 50
Use every day before going outside, even if it is not sunny. Sunscreen is the last step of your morning skincare routine. You can apply makeup on top of it.
3
Serum 10: Vitamin C for Dull, Sensitised Skin SkinCeuticals - Serum 10: Vitamin C for Dull, Sensitised Skin
You can use this product either in the morning or at night, before your moisturizer or sunscreen. You can use it daily, but, in case you notice signs of irritation, reducing the application to every other night might help.
4
Azelaic Acid Serum The INKEY List CA - Azelaic Acid Serum
Use your azelaic acid product once per day, either in the morning before your sunscreen or at night, before your moisturizer.
5
Niacinamide 10% Serum The INKEY List CA - Niacinamide 10% Serum
Use your azelaic acid product once per day, either in the morning before your sunscreen or at night, before your moisturizer.
AM - Once a week
1
2% Salicylic Acid Acne Treatment Gel SEPHORA COLLECTION - 2% Salicylic Acid Acne Treatment Gel
You can apply this product either during the day or at night, before your moisturizer or sunscreen. You can also apply it as a spot treatment only - as in directly on inflamed blemishes or in the area where you get clogged pores. We recommend that you use the product no more than once a week on larger areas of your face. More frequent use can result in skin irritation.
PM - Everyday
1
2-in-1 Cleansing Micellar Gel + Light Makeup Remover Clinique - 2-in-1 Cleansing Micellar Gel + Light Makeup Remover
Use a generous amount of product to remove all dirt, sunscreen or makeup in one step. There is no need to double-cleanse. It is a good idea to always finish cleansing with a splash of clean water to remove any residue from the cleanser. Most people only need to cleanse their skin with a cleanser once per day, at night. It is the first step of a night skincare routine.
2
Ultra-Light Moisturizing Gel CeraVe - Ultra-Light Moisturizing Gel
Use every day, as many times as needed. For most people, it's best to use a moisturizer twice per day. In the morning, apply it before your sunscreen (or skip the moisturizer in the morning if your sunscreen feels hydrating enough). In the evening, a moisturizer is usually the last step of a routine.
3
Retinol 0,5% Serum Functionalab - Retinol 0,5% Serum
Start slowly with this product: it can be irritating, but your skin can adjust to it with time. It is best to start using this product only a few times a week or every other day for the first few weeks. Mild dryness is normal when starting using a retinoid. Once your skin is able to tolerate the product well, you can slowly increase the frequency of use to every day. Make sure to apply a moisturizer regularly when using this product. Apply this product on clean skin, before a moisturizer. Most people prefer using this product at night, but it can be used in the morning as well (once per day in total).

This is a routine makeover for TGTG: https://whatsinmyjar.com/posts/1466/best-products-to-reduce-redness-acne-hyperpigmentation. The original routine included good actives, but was very expensive (SkinCeuticals 💸 😔). The new routine relies on similarly potent and better fitting actives, but costs a fraction of the price. In terms of actives, the routine includes: - Azelaic Acid 10% 1x a day - Niacinamide 10% 2x a day - Retinol 0.3% (estimated) + Bakuchiol 0.5% (estimated) + Salicylic acid 2% to use as a spot treatment on inflamed blemishes as needed.
