We believe that "La Roche-Posay - Anthelios XL SPF50+ Anti-Shine Dry Touch Gel Cream" can provide reliable sun protection based on the ingredients listed. It can protect from both UVA and UVB rays. This is great news because not all sunscreens with SPF ratings give UVA protection. (UVA rays do not cause sunburn, but still damage our skin and lead to early aging).

Sunscreen filters

This sunscreen uses so-called "chemical", or organic UV filters (organic simply means that their molecules contain atoms of carbon). These are the sun protection ingredients in this sunscreen: tinosorb s 2.20% - 2.60%, avobenzone 0.60% - 0.90%, uvinul a plus 0.55% - 0.85%, mexoryl xl 0.75% - 1.10%, octisalate 3.20% - 3.90%, uvinul t 2.50% - 3.10% and terephthalylidene dicamphor sulfonic acid 0.30% - 0.50%.
