This product works by removing dirt and oil from the surface of the skin. It uses a combination of mild cleansing agents (carbomer, ceteareth-20, cetearyl alcohol, cholesterol, cocamidopropyl hydroxysultaine, glyceryl stearate, isohexadecane, peg-40 stearate, pentaerythrityl distearate, pentaerythrityl tetraisostearate, polyglyceryl-3 methylglucose distearate, polysorbate 60, sodium cocoyl isethionate, sodium lauroyl glutamate, sodium lauroyl lactylate, sorbitan isostearate, xanthan gum) and should be able to cleanse the skin gently.
