This product works by removing dirt and oil from the surface of the skin. It uses a combination of mild cleansing agents (disodium lauryl sulfosuccinate, lauric acid, myristic acid, palmitic acid, stearic acid, triethanolamine) and should be able to cleanse the skin gently.
