Ingredient callouts

  • Exfoliating acids (mandelic acid 0.15% - 0.30%, lactic acid 0.15% - 0.30%, glycolic acid 0.15% - 0.30%, lactic acid 1.00% - 1.20% and glycolic acid 4.30% - 5.30%). In this concentration, they will have a noticeable exfoliating effect. They can also have an anti-aging effect and stimulate collagen production in a long-run. Lactic Acid can also help to attract water to the upper layer (works as a humectant).
  • This product also contains Vitamin C (Ascorbic Acid). It can be an effective active for anti-aging and evening out the skin tone, but in this product it is used for stabilizing other ingredients in the formulation. In this concentration (0.25% - 0.40%) it cannot have a noticeable benefit for the skin.
  • This product contains an effective form of Retinoids (vitamin A): retinol 0.20% - 0.35% and retinol 0.15% - 0.25%. Retinoids are potent multitasking actives. They work to improve and prevent early signs of aging, reduce hyperpigmentation (age spots and post-acne marks), and prevent inflamed blemishes and clogged pores. The downside of Retinoids is that they can be irritating. If you are not already using a Retinoid in your routine, it is best to start slowly and apply the Retinoid product only a few times per week. If your skin tolerates it well, you can gradually increase the frequency to daily.
  • Salicylic acid (1.50% - 1.80%). This is an oil-soluble exfoliating acid. Because of this property, it can work inside pores and help reduce the congestion. It has an anti-inflammatory effect and is used to treat acne. Because it is a quite strong exfoliator, be careful with using this product too often: it could result in over-exfoliation.
  • Adenosine 0.20% - 0.40%. It is a chemical present inside our skin cells. A clinical trial confirmed that topical application of Adenosine in a low concentration can reduce dynamic wrinkles (these are the wrinkles that appear with age in a places where our mimic is the most active, for example, in the corners of the eyes or on the forehead).
  • Humectants (glycerin 0.25% - 0.45%, zinc pca 0.20% - 0.35%, sodium pca 0.20% - 0.40%, copper pca 0.20% - 0.40%, zinc pca 0.15% - 0.30%, copper pca 0.15% - 0.30%, glycerin 0.20% - 0.40%, glycerin 0.20% - 0.35%, zinc pca 0.15% - 0.25%, sodium pca 0.15% - 0.30%, copper pca 0.15% - 0.30%, zinc pca 0.30% - 0.55%, copper pca 0.30% - 0.50% and glycerin 0.35% - 0.60%). These ingredients help attract water to the upper layer of the skin and improve the skin hydration.
