Product summary

"Dr. Brandt - Dark Spots No More Triple Acid Spot Minimising Concentrate" is effective for: Anti-aging, Evens skin tone, Moisturizing and Anti-inflammatory

This product could be helpful for: Anti-blemish and Anti-oxidation, but its actives are not the most effective or are not well-studied.

Ingredient callouts

  • A good concentration of Niacinamide (5.50% - 8.30%). Niacinamide is a well-studied multi-tasking active. It is stable, and can work well in almost any hydrating formulation. There is solid evidence that Niacinamide can help support skin barrier, regulate oil production and reduce acne and clogged pores. It also helps to fight photodamage and improve the skin tone, reducing pigmentation marks.
  • Potassium Azeloyl Diglycinate (2.80% - 4.30%). It is a derivative of Azelaic Acid. It is less studied than Azelaic Acid, but the available research suggests that it also can be effective in reducing skin redness, hyperpigmentation and blemishes. There are claims that it is more bio-available and more effective than azelaic acid, but no comparison study is available. Potassium Azeloyl Diglycinate is better soluble in water compared with Azelaic Acid. Because of this property, products with Potassium Azeloyl Digclycinate can have a nicer texture.
  • Humectants (glycerin 1.70% - 2.60%). These ingredients help attract water to the upper layer of the skin and improve the skin hydration.
