But we recommend to use this product with caution to avoid over-exfoliation (no more than 1-2x a week). Over-exfoliation can seriously damage your skin barrier and lead to sensitivity and even trigger pigmentation issues.
- Adenosine 0.50% - 1.15%. It is a compound that in involved in many biological processes inside the skin cells. According one high-quality clinical trial, topical Adenosine in low concentrations can somewhat help improve "deep wrinkles" - the wrinkles that appear with age in places where our faces are most dynamic (for example, on the forehead or in the corners of the eyes).
- An effective concentration of Panthenol (pro-vitamin B5) - about 2.00% - 3.00%. Panthenol helps strengthen the skin barrier, improve hydration and reduce inflammation in skin.
- In addition, this moisturizer contains Allantoin (1.30% - 2.00%). Allantoin is helpful in wound-healing and can help restore the skin barrier faster. It might also be able to improve scars, but the evidence is not very strong for this.
