• Peptides (palmitoyl tetrapeptide-7 0.50% - 0.75% and palmitoyl tripeptide-1 0.50% - 0.75%). There are many different kind of Peptides and they are naturally present in our skin. They all are a combination of aminoacids. Some of them work as natural antibiotics, promote wound-healing and production of collagen. The science is still not settled on how effective Peptides are in skincare, but it is very likely that they have a benefit. They might help restore the skin barrier and fight the signs of aging. At the very least, Peptides work as humectants: they attract water to the upper layer of the skin and improve its hydration.
• An effective concentration of Panthenol (pro-vitamin B5) - about 1.90% - 2.30%. Panthenol helps strengthen the skin barrier, improve hydration and reduce inflammation in skin.
• Humectants (sodium lactate 0.15% - 0.30%, biosaccharide gum-1 0.25% - 0.45%, fructose 0.30% - 0.55%, hydrolyzed yeast extract 0.70% - 1.00%, trehalose 1.20% - 1.40%, betaine 1.60% - 1.90%, panthenol 1.90% - 2.30% and glycerin 3.10% - 3.80%). These ingredients help attract water to the upper layer of the skin and improve the skin hydration.
