This product works by removing dirt and oil from the surface of the skin. It uses a combination of mild cleansing agents (coco-glucoside, glyceryl stearate se, glycol distearate, lauric acid, myristic acid, palmitic acid, quillaja saponaria bark extract, sodium cocoyl isethionate, stearic acid) and should be able to cleanse the skin gently. Still keep in mind that any cleansing can disrupt the skin barrier, and most people do not need to cleanse their skin more than once per day.
Even though this formulation is mild, the following cleansing agents could trigger an irritation or allergy for some people: coco-glucoside

This was given to me by a friend to try. The foam is nice and a little product goes a long way, you really don't need much. It feels gentle and after a few days of use I didn't notice any irritation. My skin is quite dry though, and I don't like the stripped feeling after cleaning. Maybe this product is better for oily skin, but I think there are better alternatives out there.
