Product summary

"Codexial - Enotime Body Lift Anti-Ageing Body Lotion" has a good moisturizing formula. The formulation is based on a combination of good humectants and emollients. Both are needed to increase the skin hydration level. Humectants in this product (glycerin and sodium hyaluronate) help to increase the water content in the upper layer of the skin. (These ingredients do so by "capturing" water molecules from the outside air or from within the deeper layers of the skin). Emollients in this formulation (paraffinum liquidum, petrolatum, glyceryl stearate, palmitic acid and pentylene glycol) help to reduce the moisture loss from the skin. They also soften the skin surface and relieve the feeling of dryness and tightness.

Ingredient callouts

  • Exfoliating acids (lactic acid 1.40% - 2.10% and glycolic acid 5.40% - 8.10%). In this concentration, they will have a noticeable exfoliating effect. They can also have an anti-aging effect and stimulate collagen production in a long-run. Lactic Acid can also help to attract water to the upper layer (works as a humectant).
This product contains ingredients that could be beneficial, but their concentrations are too low in this formulation: stearic acid
