- We love that this moisturizer contains a good concentration of niacinamide 1.40% - 2.10%. Niacinamide is a perfect active in a moistruizer because it helps calm down inflamation in skin and support the skin barrier. More than that, it is helpful for most common skin concerns: it helps regulat oil production, help reduce acne and clogged pores, improve skin tone and prevent pigmentation marks. It also helps fight photodamage.
- Exfoliating acids (lactic acid 2.00% - 3.00% and glycolic acid 2.70% - 4.10%). In this concentration, they will have a noticeable exfoliating effect. They can also have an anti-aging effect and stimulate collagen production in a long-run. Lactic Acid can also help to attract water to the upper layer (works as a humectant).
- Another benefit is that this moisturizer contain ceramides (phytosphingosine 0.05% - 0.30%, ceramide eop 0.85% - 1.30%, ceramide ap 1.00% - 1.50% and ceramide np 1.30% - 1.90%). Ceramides are an important part of our natural skin barrier. The Ceramides used in skincare are synthetic or come from plants. They help soften the skin and can help "fill the gaps" in the skin barrier, keeping the skin hydrated and resilient for longer.
- Salicylic acid (1.30% - 2.00%) in this product will have an exfoliating effect and help smooth the skin. We, however, do not recommend using a moisturizer with Salicylic Acid daily to avoid over-exfoliating.

These ingredients in the product can also be helpful, even though there is less evidence for their effectiveness: lactic acid.
