Hello from Teeladog

Hello everyone! My interest in skin care is relatively new. I have mostly ignored my skincare other than washing and the occasional moisturizing for most of my adult life. I am 53 so I am working with mature skin and some sun damage. My skin is more or less "normal" - not really dry or oily. But, because of my age, I probably lean toward Dry. I have been working on a building a routine for the past few months. I have some pieces of my routine that I am happy with - Toner, essence, serums. But I am still struggling a bit with an appropriate cleanser and moisturizer. My priority is effective products but it is also important to me that the products be cruelty free.

Welcome to WIMJ Teeladog! Thank you for sharing your routine - it looks very good indeed, and of course special love for a daily sunscreen! For cleanser, I think it would make sense to go for something very gentle - maybe one of those? (all cruelty-free according to Cruelty Free Kitty): - https://whatsinmyjar.com/product/the-ordinary-squalane-cleanser - https://whatsinmyjar.com/product/mad-hippie-cream-cleanser - https://whatsinmyjar.com/product/frank-body-anti-makeup-cleansing-oil - https://whatsinmyjar.com/product/versed-skin-gentle-cycle-milky-cleanser As for the moisturizer, I looked up a few cruelty-free options with peptides and niacinamide, in case helpful: - https://whatsinmyjar.com/product/e-l-f-e-f-happy-hydration-face-cream - https://whatsinmyjar.com/product/mad-hippie-face-cream - https://whatsinmyjar.com/product/pacifica-vegan-ceramide-barrier-face-cream - https://whatsinmyjar.com/product/tula-skincare-firming-hydrating-face-moisturizer
