Hello from Teeladog

Hello everyone! My interest in skin care is relatively new. I have mostly ignored my skincare other than washing and the occasional moisturizing for most of my adult life. I am 53 so I am working with mature skin and some sun damage. My skin is more or less "normal" - not really dry or oily. But, because of my age, I probably lean toward Dry. I have been working on a building a routine for the past few months. I have some pieces of my routine that I am happy with - Toner, essence, serums. But I am still struggling a bit with an appropriate cleanser and moisturizer. My priority is effective products but it is also important to me that the products be cruelty free.

For cleanser, I think it would make sense to go for something very gentle - maybe one of those? (all cruelty-free according to Cruelty Free Kitty):
