I use 3 products for the sun protection, but why it is still orange? Anyone know?
Good news first - your sun protection should be green. The Uriage Bariederm sunscreen has a wrong ingredient list on Lookfantastic (and that list was used by our algo for this product). These are the ingredients the retailer lists (https://bit.ly/3yF3QX0):
Aqua (Water, Eau), Paraffinum Liquidum (Mineral Oil), Sodium Chloride , Zinc Oxide , Cetyl Peg/Ppg-10/1 Dimethicone , Propylheptyl Caprylate , Butylene Glycol , Hydrogenated Polydecene , Panthenol , Glycerin , Dimethicone , Disteardimonium Hectorite , Polyglyceryl-3 Diisostearate , Magnesium Sulfate , Methylpropanediol , Tocopheryl Acetate , Triacontanyl Pvp , Copper Gluconate , Propanediol , Propylene Carbonate , Citric Acid , Glutamylamidoethyl Indole, Polyquaternium-61 , Hyaluronic Acid , Silanetriol , Borage Seed Oil Aminopropanediol Amides
(This formulation would likely not provide a reliable sun protection).
The manufacturer has a very different ingredient list (https://www.uriage.com/AA/en/products/bariederm-cica-cream-with-cu-zn): AQUA (WATER, EAU) ● ETHYLHEXYL METHOXYCINNAMATE ● NEOPENTYL GLYCOL DIHEPTANOATE ● CETYL PEG/PPG-10/1 DIMETHICONE ● DICAPRYLYL ETHER ● DIETHYLAMINO HYDROXYBENZOYL HEXYL BENZOATE ● SODIUM CHLORIDE ● ETHYLHEXYL TRIAZONE ● DIMETHICONE ● ETHYLHEXYL SALICYLATE ● GLYCERYL BEHENATE ● PANTHENOL ● PEG-30 DIPOLYHYDROXYSTEARATE ● BIS-ETHYLHEXYLOXYPHENOL METHOXYPHENYL TRIAZINE ● DISTEARDIMONIUM HECTORITE ● MAGNESIUM SULFATE ● HYDROGENATED POLYDECENE ● METHYLPROPANEDIOL ● POLYGLYCERYL-3 DIISOSTEARATE ● TOCOPHERYL ACETATE ● BUTYLENE GLYCOL ● COPPER GLUCONATE ● GLYCERIN ● PROPYLENE CARBONATE ● PROPANEDIOL ● TRIACONTANYL PVP ● XANTHAN GUM ● CITRIC ACID ● ZINC GLUCONATE ● POLYQUATERNIUM-61 ● HYALURONIC ACID ● SILANETRIOL ● BHT ● BORAGE SEED OIL AMINOPROPANEDIOL AMIDES ● GLUTAMYLAMIDOETHYL INDOLE
We've corrected the ingredient list in our DB. Apologies for the confusion!
Some tinted sunscreens give an orange cast. It happened to me with another sunscreen, so I changed to one that's not tinted.
My guess is the La Roche tinted SPF. From what I remember they only have the one light shade and that came out orange on my skin (I have fair skin). Maybe try a different tinted SPF and see if that makes a ddifference
