Hi 👋. Sorry you’re experiencing this. Have you seen a dermatologist about it? The reason I ask is because it sounds like it might be seborrheic dermatitis. I’m not an expert by any means but I have heard that red, flakiness on the face can be caused by the same yeast that causes scalp dandruff. This is a treatable issue and there are products such as ketoconizole, etc. that could get it under control. I hope this helps!

have you tried an anti dandruff shampoo? If you are black like me i wouldn’t use it with super curly hair with low porosity.

don’t wash your hair everyday only every week. Conditioning every day is fine. low porosity hair doesn’t need shampoo often.

don’t use nivea face wash use a gentle face wash such as aveeno gentle cleanser, or anything gentle.

wash your hair with a shampoo and conditioner that caters to your hair type, don’t use curly hair products made by someone who doesn’t have the same texture of hair, i find brands lack knowledge.

you can try shea moisture products ! pre oiling your scalp before your shampoo days with black jamaican castor oil 30 minutes pre shower.

i recommend sleeping with a WHOLE BUNCH OF conditioner in your hair twice a week and wash in the morning. saran wrap your hair so it keeps heat from you sleeping in which will make your curls and scalp so luscious in the morning. wear a bonnet to bed.

Hello! I agree with the advice given above and also trying out detoxing shampoos as a first cleanse on shampoo days to break up any oils or product build up then go in with a second shampoo that is good for your hair type. The Moroccan oil line has a Scalp Balancing Shampoo with salicylic acid and niacinamide that will help or their pre wash scalp scrub (:

As the above advice said, definitely try to use brands that cater to your hair type and agree Shea moisture is a great brand as well (:
