I apparently have MANY repeated ingredients within my daily skincare products. The analysis recommended I simplify my routine but I have no clue how to choose which products are better than others. Is Clinique a good skincare line? Are there other, more effective, skincare lines you would recommend for mature skin?

An easy thing to skip is the eye cream: your normal cream usually works just as well. A cleanser isn't really needed in the morning (unless you use a heave face oil the night before) - just water is fine!
I would also look for serums that combine actives that tackle multiple issues at once. Niacinamide does a LOT of things for your skin, for instance. Hyaluronic acid is also a great one. Maybe you want some antioxidants or retinol. But don't try to use everything in one routine: I think 2 serums plus a cream (and SPF!!!) is alright, but more might not be good for the skin.
For example I use 2 serums (antioxidants) in the AM with a moisturiser with SPF, and in the PM I have a cleanser and two other serums (Niacinamide and HA) and then I switch between a cream or an oil, depending on what my skin needs. I feel like more would be oversaturation.
Depending on where you're located there are some good and affordable brands you could check out. I think The Ordinary and The Inkey List are widely available. I use a French brand called Typology and I'm very happy with it!
I do use some makeup from Clinique and I'm also considering the cleansing balm. So I do like the brand in general - I have not checked out their skin care in a while, though. You can look up your products here and see if you can find similar products that are more affordable!
