Currently I'm looking to replace my PCA Sunscreen + Nutrient Toner for something more economically friendly. These were given to me by my sister, who gets a discount, to try out. I really love them, but I'm not loving the price, especially if longevity is my goal. They've definitely helped with my redness/oil but I also wish they did a touch more. Suggestions are welcome! I'm partial to less ingredients, but I'm not fussy as long as it's not all filler. So far I've found the following replacements but haven't tried them and would love thoughts on narrowing down!
Replacement for Sunscreen:
Cetaphil Sheer 100% Mineral Liquid Sunscreen for Face With Zinc Oxide Broad Spectrum SPF 50 Formulated for Sensitive Skin, Unscented, 1.7 Fl Oz (for $7.49)
Ingredient wise CeraVe seems to have more but a lot of the extra is ceramides and the like. The Cetaphil doesn't have a tinted one, so there's that and since I have a lot of redness/rosatia I'm hesitant, even if it's only a small loss.
Replacement for Toner:
With both of these you can save with subscribe and save on Amazon, but the Advanced Clinical is twice as much for half the price. If anyone has any experience with these + redness/oily skin, please let me know!
In general I also want to think about aging issues so-hopefully that helps!
Mineral sunscreens I enjoy and affordable is Cotz and Olay Mineral sunscreens both fragrance free. They have options for oily skin in Cotz. Olay you can just skip moisturizer and use as a 2 in 1 since it is hydrating. I'm dry skin and still need a moisturizer underneath, however my husband is oily skin and he uses it alone after the buffet serum from the ordinary.
Chemical sunscreens I enjoy Isntree Hyaluronic Sun Gel SPF is for all skin types and Beauty of joseon relief sun rice and probiotics sunscreen both can be used alone as well or with moisturizer if you feel dry.
Hope this helps :)
