“Skin Barrier Moisture Deep Cleanser”
This product works by removing dirt and oil from the surface of the skin. It uses a combination of mild cleansing agents (capric acid, cocamidopropyl betaine, glyceryl stearate, lauric acid, myristic acid, palmitic acid, peg-100 stearate, peg-40 stearate, polyglyceryl-10 laurate, potassium cocoyl glycinate, sodium methyl cocoyl taurate, stearic acid) and should be able to cleanse the skin gently. Still keep in mind that any cleansing can disrupt the skin barrier, and most people do not need to cleanse their skin more than once per day.
Even though this formulation is mild, the following cleansing agents could trigger an irritation or allergy for some people: cocamidopropyl betaine, sodium methyl cocoyl taurate
“Infused with Centella Asiatica, LHA, and AHA, it removes impurities and exfoliates lightly to reveal smooth, glowing skin.”
This product can help exfoliate the skin. In other words, it helps break down the bonds between dead cells on the surface of the skin and speed up the skin turnover. Skin often appears softer and brighter after exfoliation, but overdoing it can result in disrupted skin barrier. The following ingredient is doing the exfoliating job in this product: capryloyl salicylic acid, glycolic acid.
“Vegan and dermatologist-tested, this cleanser reduces blackheads and whiteheads, leaving skin refreshed and balanced after just one use.”
This product contains ingredients (capryloyl salicylic acid, glycolic acid) that could help reduce blemishes and clogged pores in theory, but there is not enough evidence that they actually work.

It can, however, itself be irritating
More about AsiaticosideA naturally occurring peptide. One of the most studied peptides in dermatology. It is sometimes abbreviated GHK-Cu. Belongs to the class of carrier peptides. It stimulates both synthesis and breakdown of collagen in skin. It is released in skin wounds and inflammation to support healing. It accelerates wound-healing of the skin and can stimulate hair growth. There are preliminary studies that confirm that copper tripeptide can help support collagen production reducing fine lines and wrinkles and decrease inflammation in skin.
