A clinical test with 44 female volunteers conducted by the manufacturer showed that twice daily application of this ingredient in 0.25% concentration on lips increased their volume by 6% in 28 days. It is unclear where the effect is coming from. It is possible that this visible effect appears because of the skin irritation
