- What makes this product special is the inclusion of Cannabidiol, or CBD (3.70% - 5.50%). CBD is a new active in skincare, and the research about it is still ongoing. It is already clear though that CBD can bind to skin cell receptors. It can help reduce inflammation, itching, and help support skin barrier function. It also has a promise in reducing acne.
- This moisturizer also contains Peptides (palmitoyl tripeptide-5 2.70% - 4.10%, palmitoyl tetrapeptide-7 2.10% - 3.10% and dipeptide-2 1.70% - 2.50%). Peptides are a very big group of ingredients. They all consist of a different combination of aminoacids. Our skin produces Peptides naturally. Some of them work as natural antibiotics, promote wound-healing and production of collagen. - In addition, this moisturizer contains Allantoin (0.50% - 1.20%). Allantoin is helpful in wound-healing and can help restore the skin barrier faster. It might also be able to improve scars, but the evidence is not very strong for this.
