I have fallen in love with Ole Henriksen’s line of products, and should maybe simplify my routine…
Moisturizer: night cream every night, in the morning I use the strength trainer peptide boost mainly for fall, winter and spring, and c-rush gel cream for summer. I only use one type of serum a day, but alternate them over different periods. I maximum exfoliate and use a mask once per week, and alternate the masks I have listed.
I have used these products over a year, and don’t find them irritating - even though I can tell from the analysis of my list that it has high amount of irritants.
I will happily accept any comments and improvements to my routine❤️
Also what is your take on eye creams? Unnecessary??
Hello NataPatala! 👋
Since you said that you are open to all suggestions, we made a completely new routine for you: https://whatsinmyjar.com/skincare-routines/public/5937 Sorry we didn't include Ole Henriksen products. While many of them have great ingredients, we feel that there are better formulations on the market.
We recommend a simplified and more consistent routine. So instead of alternating serums, we recommend sticking to a potent anti-aging and brightening active - ascorbic acid daily, plus having a good concentration of niacinamide in your moisturizer.
For the PM, we added a retinal + bakuchiol + tranexamic acid serum for a potent combo with anti-blemish, anti-aging and brigthening combo.
As a mask, we recommend a product with azelaic acid and salicylic acid to help reduce pore clogging.
For all products, we went for fragrance-free options: it is important to keep the irritants in the routine to the minimum as you are introducing potent actives (like high concentration ascorbic acid and a retinoid).
Hope this is helpful!
