What can I expect?

Waiting for delivery of both of Naturium’s glycolics: 10% and 8%. Anyone else have experience? I have (pretty good) older skin, a bit sensitive, normal to dry, with a bit of wrinkles (especially some horizontal forehead lines). My main issue is temple-to-cheek and forehead hyperpigmentation, aka melasma (likely from elective hormone therapy a couple of years ago; who knew!). I hope to use the glycolics CAREFULLY, only occasionally, as a backup to my gentler, regular actives. Thanks, everyone!
