Redness can be a sign of irritation. I am wondering if your skin might be reacting to the Willow Bark serum? Could you stop it for a week or so to see if the redness gets better? You could use a simple salicylic acid as a spot treatment directly on inflamed blemishes in the meantime - smth like this: https://whatsinmyjar.com/product/paulas-choice-skin-perfecting-2-bha-liquid-exfoliant (you could go for a mini version, it lasts a long time if you are using it as a spot treatment)
