Is my routine efficient and sufficient for +35y.o. female with oily/combination skin?

So I don’t like to spend 30min in the morning just to layer many products. Ideally I would like to use 3-5 items at the time so I can target my aging, oily, sometimes prone to breakout skin. I think I’m pairing not correctly my current products.

I like Korean skin scare products, I found them good value for money and more noticeable effects than others. Price range let’s say up to 30-35$ per item.

I personally think you'll benefit a lot from incorporating a retinol product in your nighttime routine. Since you like Korean products, e.g. the innisfree retinol cica serum is nice. I started my retinol journey with 0.25 SkinMedica serum. Retinol will give you glass skin even when you wash everything off, and accelerate skin turnover and slow aging.

For the same reason I’m using differin like once in a week at night.

How frequently are you using retinoids at night ?

Hi, my apologies, I wasn't aware that you're already on a much stronger prescription retinoid.

I cannot use products too strong because it will make my skin patchy and dry, which will create wrinkling. I use commercial retinol, now using the Murad renewal night cream, almost every night (I skip when I apply face tanning spray once a week). It's around 0.5% but perfect to give me a perfect oil balance and glass skin. When I used the 0.25% SkinMedica serum, my skin felt smoother but no glass skin.

Every other day I also use a dimethicone based Vitamin C serum 24% in the morning. I used to use oil based VC serum but it felt too oily. Dimethicone based just kinda disappears on your face.

The rest of the time I just use very basic hydrating serum with panthenol and basic moisturizer.
