I’m new to using vit C in my skincare. I’ve been using Purito Vitamin C Serum since summer. Then it was fine, but now during winter it irritates my skin and leaves it flaky.
Should I still resume Vit C (maybe at nights) or stop using it for now? Or maybe some moisturizing recommendations to put on top?
I remember when i used too many acids on my face it started becoming so horrible and red and flaky. the moisturiser that acc saved me was the La Roche Posay Cicaplast Baume B5+. it is sooo good at healing irritations, and i repaired my skin within a few months with continued use. i have recently started using it less often because i have acne-prone skin, because there is a pore-clogging ingredient (shea butter), so another alternative i can recommend is the PURITO Centella Unscented Recovery Cream, the Soon Jung 2x Intensive Barrier Cream, the PURITO B5 Panthenol Re-Barrier Cream, and the PURITO Dermide Cica Barrier Sleeping Pack. or you could just search ‘barrier’ on one of my fav k-skincare website YesStyle, and most of the products that come up are great. another tip, you could copy and paste the ingredients into WIMJ’s ingredient checker or the Paula’s Choice Beautypedia Ingredient Checker to make sure the ingredients are safe for you to use
