Which shaving products are you using (e.g. what razor, shaving cream, aftershave)? How often do you shave? What does your shaving routine look like?

The more details you provide the better advice we can give! :)

ONLY AFTER the initial sensitivity has gone away (like probably one or two days after shaving), have you tried salicylic acid- BHA? Don’t use anything irritating right after shaving. You don’t want the burning feeling. I also have used a BLUE-light LED skin treatment device, since blue light apparently kills germs/bacteria. After the irritation of hair removal, I also recommend smoothing on a mild, lightly medicated skin-healing ointment, like Aquaphor. That’s the only thing I apply to the area for several hours until the initial sensitivity goes away. I am writing as someone who has experienced the problem (but with depilatory cream, not shaving). I am not a skincare professional. And always remember to use a high-SPF, broad-spectrum sunscreen- but *not when you’ve just removed the hair. Good luck and take care!
