Hi All,
I’ve accumulated all of these products which I love but I don’t know if I need and maybe I could just simplify my routine and get the same/ better results?
I’m 43, fair easily burned skin with some pigmentation/ discolouration, large pores and wrinkles/ fine lines.
I used to think I had oily skin but as I’m getting older it is more dry, particularly dry sports around nose, lips and forehead but by the end of the day nose/ t zone very oily. I also get monthly/ occasional hormonal breakouts.
Ideally I’d like brighter, glowing, plumper, even toned skin with less obvious pores and wrinkles.
Please help advise how I could improve or simplify routine and what I should potentially remove, use more often, less frequently or prioritise.
TIA xo
How about this?:
Drop double-cleanse, cleanse only with one product (it's enough and better for the skin barrier).
Drop the toners, face oil, hyaluronic acid serum, Pycnogenol & Argireline. You can keep the Salicylic Acid toner - but better reduce to 1-2x a week.
Drop Retinol Vitamin C Moisturizer (Tretinoin is the most potent retinoid, you don't need retinol additionally).
Use Azelaic Acid daily if you can fit it in.
This way you keep the most effective actives in your routine, but reduce the number of products and also reduce the overall irritation risk (which is still quite high when using tretinoin + ascorbic acid + Salicylic Acid exfoliant).
