Advice Needed

I have adhered to my routine religiously and I have seen great improvements with my skin. But I’m still stuck with post-acne scar and hyperpigmentation.

I have oily acne-prone skin so I am very wary about trying a bunch of new things.

Is there a gentler approach to treating my hyperpigmentation and acne scars?

(that wouldn’t interfere with other products in my routine and economically friendly:) )

Also, how do you think I am doing with my routine?

Thank you.

Hello Obi! Are you still getting inflamed blemishes? Also, have you tried a retinoid before?

Reply

Hello Maria, thanks for the reply.

No I do not get inflamed blemishes, but once in a while, I get the odd pimple here and there, which makes my skin bumpy.

I have tried retinol in the past, from The Ordinary 1%, but I stopped that because I got a Revox Just Retinol Rejuvenating Toner and didn’t think it would be a good idea to mix both retinols in my regimen.
