Type 2 rosacea bumps and some wrinkles

The skin on my forehead is starting to wrinkle but even after months of use, my rosacea flares up immensely if I attempt to use tretinoin every day. My rosacea is still bad even with skin cycling. I tried metronidazole already and did not have success

Night skin cycling- one night leave on PHA exfoliant, one night tretinoin whole face, one night tretinoin forehead only, two nights break moisturizer and Vaseline. Cleansing oil and cleansing milk to remove makeup Morning - cleansing milk, azelaic acid, ceramide moisturizer, SPF

Tretinoin might be too strong for you, and 0.05% is a high concentration.

I'd skip the morning cleanse completely, and only cleanse in one step in the PM ('d choose Versed Skin Gentle Cycle Milky Cleanser) to minimize the damage to the skin barrier. Consider switching to a mineral-based sunscreen, e.g. https://whatsinmyjar.com/product/attitude-sensitive-skin-mineral-sunscreen-spf-30.

Naturium moisture cream contains a low concentration of rosmarin leaf extract. It could be irritating as well, so I wouldn't repurchase but go for a moisturizer like this: https://whatsinmyjar.com/product/dermageek-nourishing-facial-night-cream

I'd also stop the exfoliating day, at least until your rosacea goes away.

Once you have it under control (in 2-3 month), you could try a low concentration of a less potent form of retinoid, e.g. retinol - for example:

- https://whatsinmyjar.com/product/paulas-choice-clinical-ceramide-enriched-firming-moisturiser (0.1% retinol)

- https://whatsinmyjar.com/product/cerave-retinol-face-serum-for-post-acne-marks (about 0.3% retinol)
