Used as a fragrance. Can be irritating

Helps soften the upper layer of the skin and improve the product texture. It can be comedogenic

C13-15 ALKANE

Helps dissolve other ingredients in the formula

SACCHAROMYCES LYSATE EXTRACT

Helps attract water to the upper layer of the skin. Can have some anti-inflammatory effect

ISOMALT

Helps attract water to the upper layer of the skin

CARTHAMUS TINCTORIUS OLEOSOMES

Helps soften the upper layer of the skin

THEOBROMA CACAO SEED EXTRACT

SNAIL SECRETION FILTRATE

Typically contains hyaluronic acid that helps attract water to the upper layer of the skin. Might contain allantoin that is helpful in calming down inflammation. There is no evidence that it can have any further benefits for the skin, especially when used in skincare products
