In my research on here I came across the brand Geek & Gorgeous, which seems to have a good honesty score and some products I'd like to try! I'm happy with my Typology products, but G&G is cheaper and I found it's just as easy for me to order. So this is a possible fall / winter routine for me, where I blend in some new products with some known and trusted ones. I was looking for a new cleansing balm, so I have high hopes for the Geek & Gorgeous one. On days where I don't wear makeup, I'll use the Squalane Cleanser. Previously I had reactions to retinol, but I'd like to try the G&G retinal product, starting with once a week. I've added plenty of soothing products to keep my skin happy. The CBD oil will be swapped with my night cream when I feel like I need it. I will change over to this routine as my current products run out, so it will be a gradual process, which I think is good. Does this look like a balanced routine?

I know the SPF isn't sufficient for warmer months, but currently I'm barely outside when the sun is out. I want to give the CeraVe a try because I still want some kind of sun protection in my routine. Also took some advise I got on my previous routine and changed some things up a little. I tried using the retinol cream more frequently, but I think it made my skin sensitive, so I'm back to once a week for now. If I run out of some of my actives, I might try The Ordinary alternatives for them (ferulic acid/ resveratrol and niacinamide), since they are cheaper, but I am still really happy with the Typology products.

Tried out Typology when looking for a brand to replace The Ordinary post brexit. Really happy with it so far! My aim is to simplify, so when I run out of the eye cream I probably won't repurchase. I only double cleanse when wearing make-up, which is rare. When I was younger I suffered from atopic eczema, and had to use cortisone cream - this made the skin under my eyes thinner. Now (I'm 36) my skin still tends to be dry, though my t-zone can have blemishes or clogged pores. I feel like this routine did improve my skin. Currently trying to add retinol to my routine, but I'm apprehensive about my skin's reaction to it.
