The Organic Pharmacy Repair Virgin Cold Pressed Rose Hip Oil
Little notes:
We're reintroducing actives into your routine. These are the products that have them and which ingredient is the active ingredient.
Differin cleanser - Benzoyl Peroxide
Adapalene - Retinoid
Cetaphil cleanser - Salicylic acid
Ordinary toner - Glycolic acid
The rest of the products shouldn't irritate at all, they're very basic. (it's good to know which products can be irritating if you need to take a break from them in the future)
I separated the actives to different nights because they cannot be used at the same time/same night; cannot use benzoyl peroxide with retinoids or with glycolic/salicylic acids, cannot use retinoids with glycolic/salicylic acids. Needs to be a rotating routine or your skin barrier will get inflamed again.
Don't use cotton pads or rubbing with any towels. Only pat dry and you can be generous with the cleansing balm if you used a lot of eye makeup.
Morning:
Rinse with water, pat dry - don't rub
You can use the cleanser if you feel you HAVE to. If you can get away without it, don't!
Moisturize
Sunscreen
3 different nighttime routines:
Here's the rotation I recommend trying at first, but as your skin barrier keeps healing, you'll learn to "read" your skin and know which days you can push it with actives and when you need a rest night. (I called the retinoid night a rest night because your skin will adjust to the adapalene and soon it won't feel irritating at all)
If you're feeling lazy and don't feel like figuring out which night you're on, go with a rest night or skip any actives.
