Skincare routines with:
PURITO Daily Go-To Sunscreen SPF 50+ PA++++
AM - Everyday
Use every day, as many times as needed. For most people, it's best to use a moisturizer twice per day. In the morning, apply it before your sunscreen (or skip the moisturizer in the morning if your sunscreen feels hydrating enough). In the evening, a moisturizer is usually the last step of a routine.
AM - Twice a week
You can apply this product either during the day or at night, before your moisturizer or sunscreen. You can also apply it as a spot treatment only - as in directly on inflamed blemishes or in the area where you get clogged pores. We recommend that you use the product no more than twice per week on larger areas of your face. More frequent use can result in skin irritation.
PM - Everyday
Use a generous amount of product to remove all dirt, sunscreen or makeup in one step. There is no need to double-cleanse. It is a good idea to always finish cleansing with a splash of clean water to remove any residue from the cleanser. Most people only need to cleanse their skin with a cleanser once per day, at night. It is the first step of a night skincare routine.

- good to mention that I don't use any sort of make up on my skin, so think about double cleansing (oil + water based cleanser) every time u do wear make up.
For cleansing I recommend using a gentle cleanser which respects the skin's pH (like the one I use) and use it AM+PM or only PM like me, its just that i don't really feel like I need to cleanse my face that often. There is no big difference when I cleanse everyday or not my skin, I still do it every night because my skin can get really greasy, we never know how much "dirt" can get on our skin throughout the day and mostly because we need to get ride of the sunscreen anyway. So this is what works the best for me try and see what's the best for u.
Focus on healing the skin barrier, hydrating and soothing more than key active ingredient to target acne, this really changed my skin for the best ! I used to have cleanser, serum, moisturizer all targeting acne with many agressif active ingredients (don't do that plz) that really killed my skin and worsened my acne (when u understand acne it makes so much more sense).
The toner helps the skin to absorb the rest of the products and this one is anti inflammatory so I like to use it.
Azelaic acid is really good for hyperpigmentation, its anti inflammatory, reduces texture and fight bacteria (every thing we need when we have acne, u can pretty much say that this is my holy grail when it comes to skincare with centella asiatica).. -> I started once a day as spot treatment and now using it all over my face twice.
I exfoliate my skin only twice a week and only if my skin feels good, (good skincare = listening to your skin) -> I have two options and I use them depending on how my skin is feeling : if I have a really bad acne flare up I avoid at all cost anything agressive and focus solely on hydrating, soothing my skin. If in the morning I feel like having a good but gentle exfoliation ill go with the anua pads (which contains PHA) and when my skin is feeling pretty good ill go with the purito one (BHA/AHA). It helps so much with skin texture and hyperpigmentation so exfoliating is important but know when to use it and I repeat but I do not exceed two times a week (especially if im using the purito one - exfoliating 3x times won't hurt with the anua)
Im still debating on the sunscreen im using, overall it's a good one just curious to see if there is better. But its very important to have a sunscreen, it prevent hyperpigmentation and the aging so run get one !
The avene Cicalfate can be pore clogging so u may wonder what is it doing here, well I love to use it as spot treatment on my acne for a better healing and when the weather is extremely cold (which can be the case where I live) I like to put it on the areas where I easily brake out before going out.
I think it's good to mention that I don't use azelaic acid with the purito exfoliator, I don't want it to be overwhelming for my skin.
The most important for me is the skin health, drinking water and have less inflammatory ingredient in my diet (its not a strict diet im just paying attention to what I eat). As for acne, I just kind of accepted the fact that I have it, im not really bothered by it as much as it did when I was younger. I noticed with time what triggers my acne and I can tell u there is a lot of things that does (the weather affects my skin so badly, the stress, what I eat, hormones..) as I was observing my skin i came to the conclusion that focusing on building my skin barrier, protecting it helped me a lot more.
Wish this helps anyone.
