I have closed comedones on my forehead and what in my routine could be clogging it and also product recommandations. I have combo skin and in the winter it turns more into the drier side and in summer more oily. I dont wanna buy a lot of products just to hope they help me and risk it irrating my skin
Okay thank u i use the cerave foaming cleanser. Where could i get adapalene?
And what is it. Can i ask ehy the retinol from the inkey list doesnt do much bc i have a full bottle left
I feel like the inkey retinol is likely not strong enough to improve acne or clogged pores and is more for anti aging long term but I could be wrong. It has 1% retistar which is somewhat misleading because that only contains 0.05% retinol. It also has vitamin e which can cause clogged pores. Adapalene is the strongest retinoid you can get over the counter and is meant for clogged pores and acne and also has some anti aging benefits. There are many more studies on the efficacy of adapalene than over the counter retinol creams. Adapalene is the drug name, and is the product in differin gel and La roche posay also has an adapalene product.
I don’t think any of these products would cause blackheads but maybe take out the snail mucin to see if that makes a difference? I don’t see a cleanser on this list. A cleanser with salicylic acid a few days a week would probably be beneficial or a gentle cleanser and something like Paula’s choice bha exfoliant a couple times a week would also help. I don’t this that inkey list retinol is really doing much. I would get something stronger like adapalene which helps with clearing pores.
