Stinging from non-exfoliating products is definitely a sign of a troubled skin barrier. I would recommend you to scale down your routine and stick to only the basics for a couple of weeks to let your skin barrier heal. It is very possible that with less products and potential irritants your skin texture will improve too.
In particular, these products in your routine contain common irritants and can make your skin worse:
- Kiehl's wash (citrus essential oils, calendula)
- Goodal Vita C Serum (various essential oils and plant extracts)
- Kiehl's midnight recovery (lavender essential oil, rose and jasmine)
I would also try to cleanse less (cleansing weakens the skin barrier. Obviously, we still need to cleanse our skin, but it's better to do it in one step, and only if the skin is actually dirty / has stuff to remove (sunscreen, makeup). For most people cleansing with a product only once per day at night is enough.

Both your sunscreens are fine when the skin barrier is healthy, but because it is compromised atm, it might be better to switch to a mineral-only product for a bit, for example https://whatsinmyjar.com/product/eltamd-uv-active-broad-spectrum-spf-50 or https://whatsinmyjar.com/product/skinceuticals-physical-fusion-uv-defense-spf-50.
