For both options ideally you'd minimize all other irritants in your skincare, so you might want to consider stoping the Facetheory moisturizer to reduce the chances of irritation (you get more skin benefit out of a concentrated ascorbic acid product and/or daily retinoid than from the extra exfoliation from the Facetheory moisturizer)
I think your routine is already solid! If you'd like to add more potency, I can suggest two options:
