How do I include prescribed azaleic acid cream formula?

I used an azaleic acid product in the WIMJ database, but it’s actually a compounded prescription: 15% azaleic acid cream and 4% niacinamide.

I’d use it in the AM, before oil, moisturizer and sunscreen. Both azelaic acid and niacinamide work as antioxidants, so it’s an extra support in fighting sun damage.

But it could be that the texture of the azelaic acid product causes piling with other products, then using PM is also an option

Thanks, no. I meant that in this written routine, I listed an item from the WIMJ database, but how do I put my own prescription in the database so I can list it? I’m still learning how to use your database. Thanks.

Oh, sorry! Misunderstood 🙈 You can add a product using this link: https://whatsinmyjar.com/user/add-product

Is there a way to add prescribed products that the pharmacy mixes for you? If I understand, that‘s what Matahari is asking for. Maybe there could be a function in the future where you can create an individualized product for your routine that doesn’t show up in the product search.

Thanks, Firou. I think I’d like it to be in the database because probably my prescription is a standard one that others also are using, and vice-versa. It could just be entered as a “generic” form of a particular compound or treatment. In my case, what I’d like to enter is just azaleic acid at 20% plus niacinamide, 4%, as a cream. Cheers!

The question remains what the 76% other ingredients are though :-)

You do have a point. 🤔 😏 🤓

Thanks, Maria, but there is no url linking to a product website. So I’m still stuck. The compound I want to add is an azaleic acid cream composed of azaleic acid (20%) with niacinamide (4%). Thanks.
