Suggestions on my skin care routine
Hello, I’m new here! I’ve been slowly getting into skin care. I typically go for a good quality but budget-friendly routine. I am pretty happy with my skin I’d say what I’m trying to improve is over all brightness, slight darkness around my mouth/nose area, a little bit of aging (just turned 26 for reference) and I have dark under eyes but I think it’s just hereditary🤷🏻♀️ I don’t usually go in with my cleaners morning and night. Just depends on the day. Sometimes I’ll just splash face with some water and pat it dry then I go in with a rose water spray, niacinamide serum, boots turmeric moisturizer, and then boots caffeine eye cream Curious to hear what you think to my routine and any tips or suggestions to help me improve it. Thanks!🤗
Thank you for your reply! Great tip thank you! I use the Garnier Ambre Solaire Sensitive Hypoallergenic Sun Protection Cream SPF50+ for my body. Would that be okay to use on my face as well?
Yes, it's perfectly fine to use on your face as well. But it can be that you find the finish is too shiny for the face (simply because of the appearance). In this case, maybe some of these options would work better: - https://whatsinmyjar.com/product/garnier-ambre-solaire-anti-age-super-uv-face-protection-spf50-cream - https://whatsinmyjar.com/product/garnier-ambre-solaire-ultra-light-sensitive-sun-protection-face-fluid-spf50 - https://whatsinmyjar.com/product/ultrasun-face-anti-ageing-lotion-spf-30 - https://whatsinmyjar.com/product/nivea-sun-uv-face-sensitive-soothing-uva-uvb-0-sticky-skin-feeling-sunscreen-protection-spf50
These are great, I’ll check them out Thank you!
Hello! Welcome to WIMJ! I’d say number one and the most effective thing to add is a daily sunscreen. Sunlight causes early aging and also leads to uneven pigmentation (like darker areas). A daily broad spectrum sunscreen is by far the best thing you can do it terms of skincare
