Where did the efficacy percentage go?

What happened to the efficacy percentage? Why did that disappear? Is it still there on each product and I just missed it?

Hi! We moved it down on the product page (under “How honest is this product?”).

The reason we did is because we found out it causes a lot of confusion. It’s calculated based on what the product promises and if it can deliver on each promise. The problem is that products with identical formulas can make different claims, and then the effectiveness scores for the same product is different. (for example, if a moisturizer only promises hydration, it can get 100%, but the same product would get low score if it promises hydration and anti-aging). So we kept the indication for all promises the product makes and how it can perform on them separately (green-orange-red for anti-aging, sun protection, moisturizing etc), but put the overall “promises fulfilled” score lower on the page. I’m sorry we confused you with this change!

Thank you for your response. I get it - at the end of the day the marketing words really mean nothing. the formulation and volume of each ingredient speak for themselves, but I would be nice to see the efficacy of the product, despite its marketing word claims, more easily upfront ‘cause the words are just a ploy to get you to purchase it.
