Let's start with the cleansing step! To get it officially cruelty-free, you'd probably need to change the brand (Garnier is sold in China so the possibility that the product has to be tested on animals there is there - even though it doesn't mean that it does). This can be an alternative: https://whatsinmyjar.com/product/lumene-nordic-hydra-lahde-pure-arctic-miracle-3-in-1-micellar-cleansing-water.

In terms of skin benefit, I'd recommend to skip cleansing with a product in the morning completely (just a splash with water is enough), and also definitely rinse off the residue of the micellar product with water after cleansing in the PM (I know, the product instructions say otherwise, but the cleansing water residue can remain on the skin and keep interfering with the skin barrier, and we definitely do not want that).

Also, if possible, I'd avoid double-cleanse. Single cleansing step is gentler for the skin, and also means one less product to use, which is more eco- and time-friendly:)

Finding a good cruelty free sunscreen with a light texture isn't easy unfortunately... I use this one. It's texture is not as light as Biore Aqua Essence, but it gives a very reliable broad spectrum protection. I personally love it: https://whatsinmyjar.com/product/ultrasun-face-anti-pollution-fluid-spf50

For the moisturizer, this cruelty-free option is close to Cerave, and a similar price point: https://whatsinmyjar.com/product/revolution-skincare-ceramides-moisture-cream
