Have you tried retinoids before?

As a suggestion - usually I’d use stronger actives in the PM as the ingredients are typically more potent. So you could switch the AM & PM routine.

And also in the AM, add a sunscreen.

I do use a sunscreen. I switch between coola face sunscreen 50spf and Bergen dermatology 50 spf mineral sunscreen.

Thank you for the comments. I tried a retinol from Sunday riley (A+) and it had ok results.

I HIGHLY recommend getting a gentle cleanser for everyday use instead of using the rice wash every day (especially if you plan on using retinol) - a mistake I made that landed me on this site in the first place. Using that twice a day absolutely destroyed my skin barrier. I'd opt for a gentle cleanser and skinceuticals retinol (or whatever brand you prefer) for your PM routine!
